Applications for Local Scholarships will be made available on this page. Double check the due dates as they will be different for each scholarship.
Three scholarships are available in the amounts of $1500 (1st prize), $1000 (2nd prize), and $500 (3rd prize). This scholarship is available to graduating seniors who reside in Nez Perce, Asotin, Garfield, Lewis, or Whitman (Colton School District only) counties and meet the following requirements:
The applicant must intend to pursue further education at an institution of higher learning within one year of high school graduation towards a Manufacturing degree.
The applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
The United States Youth Senate Program (USSYP) is a prestigious initiative that empowers young leaders to become active, informed, and engaged citizens. Selected students will not only receive a $10,000 scholarship for undergraduate studies, but will also earn the extraordinary opportunity to represent Idaho as one of two student delegates in Washington, D.C. This all-expenses-paid trip offers firsthand insight into the workings of our national government, including meetings with Senators, cabinet members, and a Supreme Court Justice.
