LC Chamber Agriculture Scholarship

The Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to share an Agriculture Scholarship Opportunity available to graduating seniors in our region! 

This year, three scholarships totaling $5,000 will be awarded to eligible graduating seniors:

• 1st Place: $2,500

• 2nd Place: $1,500

• 3rd Place: $1,000

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must:

• Be a graduating senior residing in Nez Perce, Asotin, Garfield, Latah, Lewis, Whitman, Clearwater, or Idaho County.

• Have participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA), 4-H, or have significant work-related experience in agriculture.

• Intend to pursue further education in a trade or agriculture-focused program at an institution of higher learning within one year of high school graduation.

• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Financial need will not be considered in the selection process. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the recipient's school's Registrar's Office and may be applied toward tuition, fees, room, or board.

Application Requirements:

Students must complete the scholarship application and submit a 500-word essay responding to the following question:

“How has your experience in agriculture made an impact on your life?”

Cottonwood Community Scholarship

Due April 1 2027

(5) Scholarships of $2000 each

Qualifications

➢ Current High School Senior at a school in Idaho County or Lewis County  

➢ Student or parent is a current CCFCU member  

➢ Will attend an accredited 2 to 4 year Vocational-Technical School, College, or University in 2027-2028 Full Time (12+ Credits)  CU Preference of Business or Agricultural degree 

Peggy Bryant Scholarship

Due April 30th 2027

This scholarship is designated for a graduating senior female student from Orofino Junior/senior high school, Idaho Youth Challenge Academy (Pierce, Idaho) Timberline (Weippe, Idaho) Nezperce, and Kamiah high schools, as well as homeschooled girls who fulfill the academic criteria in the aforementioned locations through IDVA/IDLA. The scholarship funds can be utilized at a public, 4-year accredited university, college, or vocational, technical, or trade school. The funds awarded will be disbursed directly to the education institution where the recipient enrolls. Thank you for your attention to this scholarship. Opportunity.
