Reading We are currently studying biographies. As the children read, they are looking for challenges the person faced, how he or she overcame those challenges and what impact he/she made upon the United States, etc.

Writing  The students are just finishing up with their country reports. They had to take notes about their country, turn the notes into paragraphs and then turn the paragraphs into a report. |
Social Studies and Science  In social studies we are learnng about Colonial times. The students are currently creating a Colonial village to share with the first grade class. |
